Re: 155 hesitates when hot only
I have been having a problem with my 2.0 TSpark quite similar to yours(see link). Having changed the whole throttle assembly as I thought it was over fuelling, it still hasn't cured the problem. Anyway I was talking to a friend and he said he had a similar problem with his MK1 Golf GTI and that was caused by the garage where he had it serviced putting in inferior plugs of the wrong heat rating. At low revs or when the engine was cold the plugs can handle it, but as soon as you put your foot down, the plugs heat up past their rating and hey presto they struggle to ignite the fuel, get when and the engine stutters and has no power.
I have yet to try out this theory on my Car but I will be changing the plugs on my Car tonight. I remember the garage I bought my lastest 155 saying they had changed the plugs, can't imagine them fitting a set of £100 plugs in a car they sold for just over £500!!!!
Anyway, best just to check that you have the right plugs in.
