Re: To break or not to break......

Yeah, just ignore the noise and hope it goes away. That's what I'm doing today in the 33

What are you doing with your manky 33 now then, assuming the V6 is properly back on the road?

DJ - if you can still bear to think about Alfas - I've got plenty of 33s breaking, (and I've broken two 155 V6s -sorry guys) - so can probably supply any bits you need for M.C.

Call me on 07976 384980 or e-mail

BTW - I agree that you should keep the V6 - I love driving milady's K-plate 155 V6 - that noise makes you forgive it most things - mind you I bought it cheap off E-bay

Re: To break or not to break......

Andy, sorry, I missed this - I got the quotes at NAD, I've got business cards of the people but I'm at work at the mo and the cards are at home - I'll have a look and let you know !!

In the end I had the gearbox rebuilt by a local chap who charged me 80 cash and I bought the parts (I had to pay another local garage 150 to remove and refit the box though) so in the end it worked out about 350 to get the box sorted......then there was the clutch and the the condensor.....and the radiator..... !!!..
