They are a bar steward to undo.
I imagine it'd be easier to undo the nut at the back with a HUGE LONG spanner will holding an Allen bit on a HUGE LONG ratchet so you get the leverage. Oh yeah, HUGE amounts of heat with a blow torch is normally required too.
My rear bearings went and there was no play, but once apart one of them disintegrated, so if you go to all the bother of taking it apart, I would just replace it. I'm sure I got the ABS wheel bearings for about £35 each from Alfashop in Norwich last year.
