I've always been under the impression that certain engines run better under certain combinations of oil, filters etc. So as I'm about to do a service, what is the best combination for a standard 1.8 16V 155??

I'd assume full synthetic oil?? Any particular type?

Alfa Oil, fuel and air filters?

Opinions, where to buy them and rough prices please!

Re: Servicing

Oil best too use semi-synth of 10/40 any good make although Agip or Selenia are Alfa recommended (personally I use Elf because oil is 25% cheaper in France). OEM oil and fuel filters but recommend a K & N panel filter for better filtration enhanced performance and its reuseable. As for prices just shop around locally. K & N are discounted sometimes on E Bay. I recently got on for 35.00 instead of 55.00.

Thumbs Up Re: Servicing

I always get my oil filter from the dealers, I use a Jetex re-useable air filter and I shop around for my oil but it's always Castrol Magnatec 10w/40.
