My clutch went on Good Friday (the pressure release bearing seemingly). I had the next week booked off for holidays so I spent that week without a car (yay, a great waste). Then because it was Easter week I couldn't get a mechanic. Seemingly they all bugger off to Spain for the week. Anyhoo, I finally got it to my usual mechanic after it was confirmed that a 155 clutch job is no ordinary clutch job.
I get the car back today after 19 days without it, but don't know the full cost as of yet.
Can anyone guess how much it is going to cost ? A little competition if you will.
I know the upper limit (so I know how much money to bring ).
50 GBP per hour for labour? wow!!! down here, i paid just around 20 GBP for the labour cost for my clutch replacement recently. but then again, the cost of an alfa is way cheaper over there...well, you win some, you lose some!
