Brief history of the Green Dragon
I've just bought a 'cheap' 155 as a bit of a hobby car, my last Alfa was a nice red 75 V6 which met an untimely end in a motorway central barrier, courtosey of a 3 series driver how didn't check his blind spot (bigger than most) before moving into the lane I was travelling in.
It's a 1992 2.0 TS (of course) in myrtle green. Has the original style slotted grill and, oddly, door cubbies which match. My Father's '94 has neither. It also has a square patterned cloth interior and a climate control system without air-conditioning, (No ECON button, or compressor for those tech types) AND a sunroof, but no rear blinds. It's done 167,000 miles (with bills and MOT's to prove) and does sound a little tappety and reverse graunches like my sprint veloce used too.
Anyone got any ideas of which sort of early 155 this is, when was the grill/interior revised etc, etc. Any help would be appreciated,
Oh, and how long does a digital clock supposed to last in a 155, both of ours have blown leaving little liquid crystal streaks across the display.
