I went and looked at it and it has an interesting array of bits and bobs on it.
New front and rear bumpers ( not colour coded )with no front splitter. No ski-flap. Says Silverstone on the V5. It's got the proper rear spoiler. Side skirts are not colour coded. It has the sticker on the boot and it's red in colour.
It's got a sunroof and electric front windows.
I think it's an original motor, but it's got a very rattley bottom end and it's done 122,000 miles. Bodywork is generally OK but because the engine was mingy and the interior has got a few holes and tears in it I didn't bother taking it for a spin.
So boys and girls . . . . . what's it worth???
What would you pay for it??
Hi, how did the Silverstone generate the additional HP and torque with a standard 8v 1.8 engine. Remember saw one unit on the net, the Silver's air-inlet is a much smaller sleek clean unit looking like an alloy compare to 1.8 8v standard, which is of ceramic like material and longer with the writting twin spark written on top.
This has been discussed a few times and as afar as we know it is the same. The "extra" figures seem to be folklore......unless someone has proof?
I own a Formula (Silverstone) 1.8 8Valve , it got an airbag , a armrest , the ski hole , leather interior , no airco.
Ones had an videoclip online of the interior of my 155 formula , it has disapeared don't know why actually.
For Belgian and Dutch owners (s)he's going for sale.
The old girls still going strong had a couple of hic cups like Clutch Slave Cylinder and Thermostat but hey these things happen
The important thing is its still running well and she loves it only drawback is every opportunity she gets she points out that her`s is Red and NOT Pink like mine (Her car that is before the smut arrives )
alrighty Speedy... Q4.. naahh.. I just don't have time at the moment, so it's still languishing in my brothers dbl garage.. talk about a labour of love! When I come back from NZ I'll be getting into her again ... fingers crossed!
That silverstone .. class car.. loved it! You got a bargain there
