I would normally use the CD player in the car but yesterday I was listening to the radio when I needed to put the rear windscreen heater on.... this resulted in interference on the radio.
???? How do you supress the rear heater element ???
Most likely cause is a broken element. In the morning, put the rear demister on and look for little patches that don't clear. If you spot one buy some metalised paint. Most car shop should do it for about a fiver, dab some of that on and it should be ok.
Now ain't that strange - put the demister on this morning and the CD started to play up. Turned it off - CD perfect. Checked the elements and they look OK, checked the connections to the elements, OK. Checked the timer relay - OK....switched it back on with the CD on. Now OK......
Inside the car looking out the back, look behind the rear left hand side panel, behind the grey cover where the drivers side rear passenger sits, and the top of the seat belt goes through, and there is some sort of amp jobby that the aerial and rear screen goes through, i dont know if it is this at fault?
