Rob155, Im going 2 fit recaro's in mine , had a look will be possible 2 use alfa subframes + make brackets/adapter plates 2 bolt recaro's on, dont know if any help??
Wrinx, notice on bottom of your post U have PC in garage cool!!!
Have U came up with a price on your seats???
I've got a pair of Sparco's in mine, the best way of doing it, is take the runners/frame off of a seat then make an adaptor plate to fit it onto the new seat. HOWEVER you will probably find that the seat is WAY to high for you, the standard seats are scooped out at the bottom to bring the seat height down.
The only other way is to make up some seat fixings yourself, that is what I've done for the drivers seat, only problem now is that it is in a fixed position.
The only seat manufacturers that still sell adaptors for their racing shells to suit a 155 floorpan are Sparco. Recaro used to do a pretty trick conversion for the german market although that has been long discontinued. Having seen front end collision tests carried out in the flesh, I would not recommend making your own as these may not be strong enough in the right places to avoid you going through the windscreen! The Sparco adapters are around £50 in Italy although it may be worth asking DemonPrices oops, DemonTweeks what they reckon they're worth.
