Over the last few months I've been getting a horrible short scraping noise from the left rear when ever I hit a undulation in the road, or come down off a speed hump.
There aren't any marks on the tyres, and I was initially thinking of fitting bump stops but I reckon its actually happening on the rebound, not the compression of the suspension.
Anyone had this problem, and what did you do? I'm now wondering if I need new rear shocks. I've had 40mm lowering springs on for 1.5 years now. The mileage is 117,000kms.
Its more frequent when i'm carrying a passenger in the back.
I've had it checked over by the garage but they can't find anything wrong with it and its just passed its MOT alright, so I'm looking at taking matters into my own hands.
Cheers for any suggestions.
