battery terminal connector

my positive connector is worn, has any body changed one or know if they can be bought. It appears to be somehow riveted on. It does not tighten up properly now and is causing intermittent starting probs

There is an old trick of opening the terminal up a bit and fitting it on upside down as the terminals are tapered and it might get a better grip wink

Dunno if you can do it on a 155 with all the extra wires on the lead though

you can buy replacment connectors, all you need to do it cut off your old one and strip back the wires a bit,the new ones come with bolt on fitting that clamp the wires.

cheers lads, I like speedys sneeky idea but i think the clamp is too far worn, will get a replacement, should not break the bank.
