I have recently hooked up a pc to an audi s4 for "tuning" and reseting.. and I was wondering does 155 have the same type of interface ? Havent really looked in to this topic before on alfas, so if there is a FAQ somewhere just point me to that direction and I'll be happy ;-)
It must be possible but finding the right software and interface could be a problem. There was an interesting thread on AO.com recently where some owners tried to make it happen. Think it was the 156 lounge.
someone somewhere should be able to get hold of the diagnostic cd and burn a copy. The interface will be the problem I think too wrinx but then i dont know much about this stuff. I guess that most car diagnostic stuff is generic and becoming more and more easy to get hold of. I will watch this thread with interest. I too recall the thread where some alfa owners who must have also been part time astro physisists were trying to build a rig to plug their cars in.
it was a good thread on AO one of the few i read..some people were trying to utilise one of the diagnostic computers and then fabricate it to fit in a dash pod,but all this is for is to enable you read the parameters of the various sensors and give you basic realtime information,
When I first bought my 155 I thought that the car had been made with far too many gismos under the bonnet. Now I realise that I was conditioned into thinking this by the techs at the main dealers who did not themselves fully understand what is in fact a relatively simple system
