Plug gap

Now I have my nice new platinum spark plugs I would like to fit them. But there is conflicting info about the gap that needs to be set. According to the manual I have, the gap should be 0.6 - 0.7 mm (presumably for both plugs (twinspark)?

But the NGK site says the gap is preset on the large plug, and should be 0.8mm on the small plug.

Which is correct?!

I would say that the Alfa manual is correct (is it an Alfa manual ???)
Plugs for specific cars generally come correctly gapped. I got the Golden Lodge plugs for my car and they didn't need setting.

Yes, it's one on CD. I'll go with the manual for the little 'un and assume the large plug is preset.

What's the worst that can happen ? wink
