Air filter box knackered!
One little screw, that was all I wanted, but no! The ***** broke.
Was having a poke about and found that the top of the V6's air filter box was a bit loose. So I tightened it a whisker, lots of cracks later the top of the air box is now very cracked. Taped up with gaffer tape and all is well. However, I now have a yearning for a cone air filter type jobby so I can throw the air box away and stamp on it.
I have seen universal ones, but the joint from the box to the entry into the air metering enclosure is very square, most filters only come with adaptors for circular inlets.
Don't want break the bank, just want a shiny new air filter.
(Oh yeah, PS, would like info. on a good methods of ducting the cold stuff up to a cone filter too please)
