Anti-roll bar and driveshaft
After changing my discs, I discovered that the clunking from my wishbones was actually the ant-roll bar. The bit that connects it to the wishbone has snapped. I know the broken bit can be bought for about £10 (thx Wrinx and JB), but just wondered how easy/hard it would be to do myself (I have basic tools ie. hammer and bigger hammer).
Also the driveshaft gaitor at the wheel end is split bigtime. Again this part costs pennies, but is it easy to change ???? Do I have to remove the wheelbearing (I couldn't undo the rear bearings so don't think I'll manage the fronts)
Your advice is appreciated.
Oh yeah, the wishbones and bushes all looked nice and no splits/cracks in the rubbers.....yeehah !!!
