I have the 17" TSW imolas on the V6 now, and lovely they look too. However, I have a horrible feeling one of them is bent. The car is smooth and fine till you get up to about 60mph, then a distinct vibration starts to come through, first steering wheel, then as speed get up the wrong side of 75 it gets bad enough so you can feel it through the floor.
Now then, the question, the wheels have been correctly fitted by a national garage, they have been balanced twice now and still the problem persists. The guy who re-balanced them noticed there was a dink on the front left wheel, like it have been kerbed. Not big but there. Is it likely the rim is bent?
And why didn't the garage see this?
Also, given they road tested it and said it was better after re-balancing, is it just my imagination?
I went out with a mate tonight who said he could feel the shake clearly. I'm talking steering wheel vibrating shake.
Know this is getting abit long but does anyone know a good wheel straightener in East Anglia?
