I'm clutching it but it doesn't work
This started on Saturday morning - change the brake pads, take one hour tops........
Changed the pads then decided the brake fluid was looking a bit ropey. Whacked in some synthetic DOT 5.1 with an easy bleed kit. Blead the the valves including the one on the clutch slave cylinder.
Went out for a quickie. Clutch decided to start misbehaving, not disengaing despite the pedal being on the floor. Refusing to return too. It will if you lift it up but thats down to the return spring on the pedal. Hmmmm.
Have taken the slave cylinde and the master cylinder off. (including taking the inlet manifold off to get at it). There's no obivous damage to the seals on slave or master cylinders, the rubber boot has gone on the slave but nothing else. When I took the master cylinder off there was fluid in the feed pipe but I don't think there was any in the pipe to the slave.
Thanks for having the patience to read all that. Has anyone got any ideas? I'm 99% sure there wasn't an airlock by the way.
