V6 exhaust

The parts CD shows that the V6 exahust rear section(s) comes as either on section with the 2 boxes or just the rear box.

Everyone I've seen has the last 2 boxes combined, has anyone ever seen, or fitted just the rear box?

The exhaust is available in the aftermarket as just the rear box or complete (after cat).

I've only ever bought a full section for the twinny.

Is your exhaust so bad that it can't be welded?

a very dirty car

Interestingly enough (or not) the two box version, like the standard 8v one, has a straight peice of pipe just after the first (middle) box. The diameter of this pipe is perfect in that if you cut just after it, an aftermarket rear box will slip on nicely.
Just a thought in case you want a nice supersprint rear or something wink

I bought a Timax for my V6 last autumn (rear box) and am fairly pleased. It has the same chrome oval trim as the old one and doesn't sound bad either. A bit of hacking and bashing and it went on fine.(120 odd from partco)
