First of all i would like to thank all of you that helped me with my variator / camshaft problems .
The car is now back together but i now have an oil leak since changing my filter .
It seems to be coming from around the oil cooler behind the oil filter .
What can i do to cure this problem .
Does it have a bolt behind the filter that you can tighten like the old Citroen Bx .
Any help please .
It is poss that when you unscrewed your filter you partly unscrewed the thread the filter screws onto wink this thread holds the alloy housing to the block then the filter screws onto if you see what i mean try taking your filter back off then there should be an allen key fitting in the end of the thread see if it will tighten then refit filter and see what happens
I was somewhat alarmed yesterday when I took my oil filter off. That alloy block turned with the filter and I had to put a set of stillies on it to get the filter off. Haven't started the motor yet thou....

Glad you got the timing sorted, sorry I wasn't much help, did you get a set of cam locks sorted out?
