Washer fluid reservoir

I need to clean some dirt out of the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir on my 97 1.8 16v.

Does it lift out if l remove the expansion tank or does it have to be done from underneath by removing the o/s wheelarch?

Or can the reservoir be cleaned out without removing it?

I got a tube and sucked!! eek! eek!

Doesn't taste as nice as it smells though.

But at least all the sediment at the bottom came out so washers are now A1 againwhich is just as well considering the recent weather.
