I posted on this topic on the .org, but a wealth of information is never a bad thing. Sorry if this is getting repetitive for those on the .org
so I may be needing a new AFM and lambda for my car, it is occasionally flashing the injector warning and lurching. I did the onboard diagnostic, and it came up 1-2-2-1 which is AFM. I was told that the onboard diag is not really reliable, so I am ordering a kkl/3-pin cable set for multiECUscan, and will see what the scan tells me.
Anyways, speedy from the .org suggested to go with a bigger AFM from a 164 3.0 if I am going to hotter cams, which I am [that is what he did].
My question is
, as that would be my only AFM, would it work with the stock cams until I get the hot ones installed? Is the 164 AFM compatable with the 155 v6 in its stock-ish form [I have a filter, cat back, and Autodelta tune]. Would there be any running issues on the stock cams and my tune?
thanks so much for the help
