Hello again Guys,
Nice to see the site back up & running again.
Back to ECU/Lambda/hesitation problems. A long whie back I posted similar problems with my 96 V6 and had all sorts of ideas. I swapped AFM, replaced Lambda (which did cost £100 from Alfa), checked every single wire in the ECU loom, stripped and cleaned PCV, looked for leaks, tried injector cleaner etc etc etc. Nothing helped, light came on more and more, car hesitated more and more. Eventually, I tried yet another new Lambda (this time £40 from a local factor). Hesitation went away, light stopped coming on (for about 2 weeks). Then I went on a decent run and got 36mpg. I had never got better than 28 before. I still see the warning lamp from time to time but I don't let it bother me.
So, change the Lambda first and hope it's a decent one!
