Come on, guys
Some of you sound like an old gentleman, hat and cigar, riding his shiny new Mazda. A Holyday trip is of course not a race or rally – lots of scenery is to be seen, sites visited etc. – but sometime a distance of motorway has to be put behind you. My point is, it’s you as driver and your passengers that set the pace – any modern car, not least an Alfa, which is properly service and looked after, will stand it unless you go flat out a hole day (if you find the empty stretch of motorway).
So, Designo, don’t worry what speed the car will take, worry about having the 155 checked and fit. Plan the trip to avoid as many of the know “stau” sports on the Autobanen as possibly, take a rest every now and then and enjoy your Holyday – it already starts when you set off from home.
