my new 155
Hi all, just bought myself a new project in the form of a 155, its a 96 widebody sportpack 1.8 in rosso, its in need of some welding an a general recommission, i know these things are getting rare now and its only a matter of time before the prices for them rise. The 155 is an absolute classic in my eyes. Anyway i would like to find out a little about my cars history as it has been through a few enthusiastic owners before me, it is registered as P356CCF, and is the sister car to an identical 155 registered as P355CCF that was used by autocar mag for a road test in aug 96, some of the paperwork that came with my car from new has the word "PRESS" written across it, so i am wondering if mine was also used by the press when new. This is my first Alfa and i am looking forward to the challenge of restoring something new to me, i have restored a few cars before this one, mainly old fords, so am out of my area of expertise if you like. Any input appreciated, Simon.
