I think the cars who came to the portuguiese market where somehow not with the same spec as to the british one.
very few 2.0 litres came to portugal, and the 4WD are as thin on the ground as gold dust, and the 2.5 V6 are as rare just about non existent.
My car came with 14" alloys with 185/65/14 tyres on it, and one owner prior to me fitted 195/65/14.
The only gain you have down here, is I never saw a rusty 155, usualy they go because market value puts them on the bargain basement, and then there is no money for general maintence, parts are hugely expensive, so a lot of dogs about through skiping on it.
Enough of that , advise on tyres.
