faded paintwork

Hi,

My rosso red 155 bumpers have the clear coat peeling off them. What products can i use to tidy these up and freshen up the rest of the paintwork aswell. After 15 years, scratches, tree sap and kids have all taken their toll on the outside of the car.

cheers

Welcome to the Faded Rosso club !!

I had the same on both my bumpers, and what I did was sand them down, and resprayed them to get a good finish on them.

the only problem is that you will not find an exact match for faded Rosso red.
I managed to get something as close as I could in cellulose paint, but not many supply it.

Or peel off the laquer as best as you can then re-laquer from a rattle can. Wont be perfect but worked on my bros 145QV and looked a dam sight better than it did
