If you can get the part number, then you can take that part number to mangolesti,or EB spares as it might be the same as 75,164,or check on eBay,you can always find treasure like that on there..hope this helps

'scuse my ignorance.

What is the vehicle speed sensor ? Do you mean the speedometer sender unit, or a cam or crank sensor ?

From the hesitation, i'm assuming the cam sensor ??

i tried mangolesti also, ive only heard of it referred to as the vehicle speed sensor but it sounds like the same thing as you metion,it controls the speedo, mileometer and tells the ecu that the car is moving rather then stationary,i think, anyway thanks for the help because alfa.chris has come through with a used one, hopefully solves the problem

another thing has reared its ugly head, the speedo isnt working but the car drives properly, the one thing i noticed when i fitted the speed sensor the drive gear that goes into the speed sensor is bent, could this cause the lack of speedo although it was working prior to new speed sensor, confused!
