155 V6, thoughts on intake mods?

hi guys

as usual, i'm keen to modify the usual easy issues first, and that would normally include the obligatory air intake designs.

having a quick look at the current stock air intake, the only difficulty i imagine is the fact that the AFM has a rectangle entry, married to a converging hose that converts to round exit from the airbox.

this clearly doesn't lend itself very readily to the usual pipework arrangements of ducted metawork and hose connection to a decent cone/mushroom/CDA etc.

so what have other folk done, and what have their success and pitfalls been?

if not done correctly, most folk find that a replacement element does what they expect, but i would really like to take it a level or two above that if practically possible, and finally is the intake tubes from a 3.0 24v a known and proven improvement, or just fitted because theyre bigger they are assumed to work.

You need an AFM from a 33 16v or the top hat from the AFM from a Peugeot 205 GTI to fit a CDA...
