Help red injector light staying on

hi chaps
i live in jersey channel islands and have recently accuired an alfa 155 from a friend of mine who sadly is no longer with us the prob is the red injector light on the dash stays on all the time ,the car starts and runs fine, my late friend did say to me sometime last summer that it was a faulty sensor and he couldnt be bothered to sort it as the car drives fine[he was a mechanic]
does anyone know where this sensor is located? as im one of those who hates faults on cars like warning lights on etc the car has been standing idle since last october so if anyone has any tips id appreciate it as im new to alfa's
best wishes
roger

start by removing the plugs, you canget a build up of oil in the plugwells, also if you know where the CAM solenoid is take it out as again there can be dirt and oil in there, I thin there is a cam sensor somewhere, that could be the sensor he was talking about

My guess would be either MAF, lambda sensor, or the cam sensor - which is a PITA as it means a cambelt change.....though if you don't know when it was last done might be a good idea anyway - due every 3 years/36K miles.....

That light has been on on our 156 SW 1.6 ever since we got it......cobbler's shoes, and all that!
