Rear subframe bushes quickie..
After some extensive searching, I managed to find a decent second-hand rear subframe in reasonable condition, to replace my skanky old fella.. with the rusted off (literally) bump-stop mount and "RMS Titanic" levels of corrosion..
Next job is to shot-blast the new one, give it a squirt of zinc (any recommendations in the Surrey/South-East region?) and a re-poxy coat... but before I go that far I need to remove the old bushes.. preferably so I can re-use them again, since they're not too bad and new ones are not separate items..
Does anyone know how they come out? Are they bonded in (seems like it)?
If they get wrecked during removal, does anyone sell new bushes separately? AR only sells the subframe as a single item..
The sub-frame itself came off a Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo.. which has the same part number... Obviously these are newer than anything ever fitted to a 155, which would be 14 years old at best).
No bullets for Chaingun..
