96 Widebody - Do I or don't I?
I'm seeking some friendly advice! I've just been offered a black 96 widebody 155, being sold by a neighbour for oiro £1000. Its the last of the chain driven T Sparks in 1.8 guise, black speedlines etc. Very hard to fault visually and looks to be in superb condition. Recently MOT'd, and as it belongs to a neighbour i've had the pleasure of seeing it used on a regular basis for the last three years and there have been no obvious issues. I've always wanted one of these, ever since they were new and would buy it to keep as a 'future classic' - my current 156 would remain as my daily runner for the time being. Are the 155's that good? Or is it going to feel like a step backwards from the 156? And are there any significant points I should be looking out for?
