Fixing a Q4 rear right wheelarch.

So, I delivered my Q4 to have it treated with tectly. Got it back with a note to fix my wheelarches before they could do anything. Didnt notice the holes before they had cleaned it underneath.

This is how it looked towards the trunk, you can spot a few rustholes.

And La piece de resistance, where the gas filler connects to the body
Turns out, the previous owner had "fixed" som rustdamage with the kind of foam you use to isolate buildings...

Tank out, angle grinder done some work:
Not going to be fun.

Got some of the easy holes fixed yesterday

Edit: cant get images to show, just links.

Looks like the usual place for the 155 to get rust.
The wheel kicks all the dirt up there and forces it in to any small split in the bitumen

Make sure you check the rest of the car while your under there, especially along the sill/floor joins.

any cracks in the bitumen need to be repaired, after checking that no rust is underneath it.
