Dogey Battery or new Alternator?

The Battery light is staying on when the key is out the ignition, hence the battery is aways flat!
Any ideas? Or ir it going to need an new alternator . . . if so anyone suggest where can i get a new or second hand one from? ta

hi mate
it could be the diodes in the alternator or it could be a short in the wiring (maybe the ignition switch)

try removing the connections from the battery for a while, maybe a few days if possible. IF its good when you reconnect its possibly your alternator
