My TS is not standard.
It has an aftermarket exhaust with less boxes, and has been re-mapped, so kicks out as much as a standard V6.
The advantage of the 4 pot is in the twisties on a road.
Earlier this year I had a little trip over to Wales, and went round the Evo triangle - a fnatastic bit of roadway that has differing types of road - twisties, long straights, sweeping bends ..
I was behind a Brera 3.2 Q4, and while in the twisties, kept up, but once on the sweeping curves and straights, it was gone.
It really depends on what you want the car to do, if it is purely for straight line speed, then a V6 has it, along with a great engine noise !
gone but never forgotten . new blue
