Hmmm Location of fuel filter

Please help me. I cant locate the fuel filter on my 155 and the manual doesn't help.

Skinny 155v6 ICBM

The beast is on the opposite side of the car to the trapezoidal shaped silencer... ahead of the rear wheel.

It's under a plastic cover... and is the same shape (though a bit smaller) as a Coca-Cola tin.

BE CAREFUL when undoing the fuel connections as there is pressure inside which will spray fuel everywhere at first.
Just release the pressure slowly & catch the fuel.

What about opening the fuel filler cap.
Wouldn't that release the pressure ?

No, that would be atmospheric.
The pressure inside the filter is delivery pressure from the pump.

And be careful when you remove the plastic sheet. Firstly my screws that hold her in where rusted a bit and close to threading so be careful, secondly when I took my plastic cover off my face was greeted with a pouring of pebbles and other grit that just gathered in there
