Our recent 'sunny' weather has caused me and my 155 no end of problems. The other day I drove through a massive lake puddle (unseen on a dark country road) and water chugged up into the engine bay. I took it to the garage and said 'whats not working' and they said the spark plugs are ruined which I suspected but because I didnt want them to do it (they wanted to charge me a million pounds) they refused to check anything else. What other things should I be aware of? She seems to drive OK except for the odd missfire and splutter from the sparks, but what about injectors and the such, is there a way to check they are ok or do I need a special machine thingy?? Fuel concumption is progressively getting worse, would this be to do with the sparks? Help needed and thanking you in advance!
