The bloody thing decided to give up on me, so instead of rushing out to buy a new one, decided to tear it apart and see what the problem is
This is what I was faced with.
The cylinder didn't leak, but the clutch became extremly hard, and wouldn't return the pedal on its own (it would, but slowly as hell.....very annoying on traffic lights
) When I took it off, the cylinder, it was rock hard, to push or pull, I don't think it should be that way, right?
Expected to find a spring in there, no such thing. Anybody ever disassemble one of a 2.0 TS 155? Cos' as far as I can see, the rubber seals are both fine, except for the one on top (marked with small red circle) , which is quite bashed up.
This small seal has a hole in it which is then connected to the bigger seal (marked with big red circle) which is loose on the piston (is it supposed to be that way?). The thing is, like I said, both of the rubber seals look fine, but I don't know what the upper, small one is supposed to be like....'cause it's torn, I', not sure what it's shape is supposed to be....so anybody got an idea?
