Hello all, stumbled on this website while looking for ways to make my hand-me-down alfa155 run a little better.
Just recently however, the right headlight went out and thinking it would be a quick fix to get it out and change the bulb I took a whack out it.
30 minutes later (and short one screw) I've resigned myself to taking it to a mechanic.
Is there an easier way to get at the lamps than taking apart the front end of the car? I don't have a ramp and I'm not the most limber person in the world, but I'd hate to have to go to the shop every time my headlights go out.
My other question would be, what lights can I get that will fit the alfa? (Since I was unable to get it open to find out myself), My selection here seems to be mostly Phillips brand lights and one of those do work (my wife has informed me that that the light was replaced by our mechanic once already).
Any help would be appreciated!
