Car now back on road with Years Mot after loads more hassle.
Drove car up road after bleeding brakes as thought i would give it a test on the way to Mot station ,as booked in.
Bl....dy foot went to the floor all of a sudden and no brakes
So got to garage very slowly pumping brakes and lots of fluid everywhere
Left car with garage and got car on ramp with now metal brake pipes on bulkhead split as corroded through!Suppose extra pressure from new compensator valve tested system to limits and found a week spot
Advised front subrame had to be dropped as pipes go right up to ABS Unit.
Anyway all system done and only just passed Mot cause of brakes insufficient?
Car laid up prior to all this work so persume just crap on disc and pads?
Car now has Mot and brakes work fine, but doesnt seem the same as pedal travel seems
greater and bite not at the top of brake pedal?
Any ideas as all new back end?
Could it be the brake compensator valve on rear is tensioned wrong on spring as just fitted
this part straight out of box.Noticed 13mm nut on this part with adjustment.
Any help is great as costing me a fortune i have not got spare,Still owe the garage for
And John to be honest i just made do with old bushes as not to bad once cleaned up,so i would be telling porky pies if said fitted,Thanks for help anyway on suframe Bush parts
