wheel help

Hi folks.

Im new to your site. Im a VAG driver but im a long time admirer of the alfas. If i didnt buy german, id buy Italian

I have come to you all for some help and i hope im not out of line asking.

Spotted these wheels on Ebay and i really love them. Was hoping you could tell me a bit about them....

i think they are from the 155 as standard. the chap selling them says they are speedlines, but trying to find more details with that doesnt help being speedline is a major manufactuer...

was hoping you could tell me what car they we standard to, and if they did any variation is size?

Hope someone can help me.

Thank you

Re: wheel help

I'm the other way round, if I couldnt have Italian I'd go for an old Golf or Polo!

The wheels are 15" pre-facelift 145 wheels. They were made by Speedline but most wheels on Alfas are. Should fit a 155 no problem come up on ebay quite often.

Re: wheel help

cool thanks guys.

were they only done in a 15" rim? do you no of any companies that do replica alfa wheels maybe in a 16 poss a 17?

early vdub watercooled cars are 4x100, but im reliably informed that with right cut/shape of bolt they will take a 4x98 pcd. would need a spacer, so on that note, a pcd adaptor or about 20-25mm would be more sensible...

thanks once again for the help.

Re: wheel help

they done a 16" speedline but was a 5 spoke design which was fitted to all 155s with a sportpack

they came in 3 colours white (rare) graphite and black

they came in 7 and 7.5 widths the 7.5 is a hard find tho and look really good too
