As the title suggests, I'm in need of some assistance with my electrical mirrors and since a video tells more than words here's a link to a video which demonstrates the problem:
As you can see, it tilts just fine up and down but moving left and right doesn't work that well. For me to be able to have any use of the mirror I have to manually tilt it away from the car, and when I do that it does not move at all anymore when you use the switch. If I tilt it back towards the car it works, but in a very limited range and does funky noises when it reaches the limit of its movement. Is there anything you can
do about this, except for buying a new mirror?
Another problem I have with the very same mirror is that I can't flip it up like I can with the left mirror:
It feels as if I'll break something before it flips anywhere, is there something you can do to losen it up and to maintain it so that it won't get stuck again? Just squirt standard lube all over the joint?
Last but not least, does anyone know what kind of bulbs are hiding behind these dials:
All the dial lights are dead and I can't really look into it myself right now so if anyone could tell me off the bat what kind of bulbs I need it would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help!
