Indicator driving me nuts

Can someone please tell me why there is a constant ticking noise coming from my indicator, even when it's not activated? It starts as soon as I switch the ignition on. This is driving me mental and any advice would be much appreciated.

Re: Indicator driving me nuts

This is all a bit spooky...

Had a relay tick-tick-ticking on the main fuseboard , and it nearly drove me bananas too !!
I eventually proved that the issue was in the stalk switchblock , but being a scaredy-cat , I elected not to take it apart , and got a replacement from a well-known Lancashire Parts God.
One thing to note : Airbag models have a stalk with a more acute angle , skinny/nonairbag versions look like this :
cr*p photo !
Hope this helps.

Cheers for that. I'll check that out. I too being a bit of a scaredy might have to opt for a replacement. Electrics aren't really my bag. Thanks though!
