This car handles like a well set up competition Lancia Fulvia 1600HF for those of you who know about these things - i.e. it can be steered on the throttle! It goes like one too with 170bhp+.

The bodywork is very good (A1) but not Concours and the interior is extremely clean and will have been valeted.

I would be very interested to hear what you guys think about price. This 155 is as good, if not better, than my 164 Q4. I'm sure that many of you will know the cost of the suspension set up with the brakes, wheels and tyres. Suffice to say that the B & C Stradale cams with the Squadra Tuning chip and other engine work came to a lot of money.


Mods please note this is not an ad to sell the car but I would like it to go to an AOC member. There is note of an ad to come in the proper place. I wish to take into consideration ideas from members as to the guide selling price for the full blown sale ad in June!

Car is in the UK - a RHD and in my workshops in west Wales.

Price? That is going to depend on feedback from members who give me input.

I am well aware that you very rarely get back what you spend. Suffice to say I'll be looking at about 75% of the parts and labour cost with the car thrown in for nothing !

Somebody on here, I'm sure, will know what the B & C Stradale cams cost plus fitting and the Squadra Tuning chip, plus the other engine work and exhaust. Then there's all the suspension bits, brakes, wheels and tyres.

When the car has had its final shake down, it will have only done about 1500 miles since the first mods were fitted. It was a case of suspension first and engine second.

Difficult to value a car like that - although as an aside I wouldn't describe it as Silverstone spec - Silverstone was a skinny only povery spec homologation special, really - quite desirable in its own right for its purity...but not what you've got......(anorak off....)

Although 155s are getting rarer, and odd ones are fetching - or at least asking - good money, there are many avaialable well under a grand - and very few people prepared to pay what I guess you'll need - £3K or so?

As I have already said, the car is being refettled in Wales and I am in France. Piccies will go up after I have "passed" the car as fit for sale! Be patient, they will be up post 11th June.

There's no point in the "Fatty" having a great technical spec and looking like crap! I can say that my mecchy, who is an old rally man like me, reckons it would make a great tarmac car. I might just keep it and put a cage in with some other work but then my wife would divorce me!

I've hung up my driving boots for good !

We are just waiting for the wing to come back from the bodyshop - it needed repainting due to a bit of cracking.

Hi Mate, pix could end some of these speculations about price and stuff 'cause appearance could say so much. As soon as they are ready let's have them. pray the lady does not strangle you.

The 155 will be on eBay with the Reserve somewhere between £3600 and £4000. Before you start shouting, wait until you see all the photos - sadly not taken by me. I've already had an offer just short of the lower reserve figure - someone went to see the car in Wales.
