Hmmm Helicoil?????

Hey everyone,

Can anyone help me with helicoil sizes. I posted a thread a while back about the manifold stud bolts in my 155's cylinder head begining to strip out. Ralf s very helpfully suggested that I use helicoils to sort the problem but i'm not sure what sizes to buy.

On my car the stud bolts are all generally 13mm but a couple are 14mm(looks like they have been drilled and retapped due to this problem) What size helicoil would i need for a stripped 13mm stud and a stripped 14mm stud. I can find tables about it but does this relate to a stripped thread hole?????

Any help would be great as its definitely beginning to blow due to the manifold not being as tight as it should be.

Thanks again Joss
