Birth suspension parts...any good?

My FL 147 JTD is in need of a front suspension rebuild soon. The steering is becoming vague and 'wandery' and it also rattles a bit. I've looked on shop4parts and i can get anti-roll droplinks, top and bottom suspension arms, track rod ends, inner rack ends and rack boots for a reasonable price. The 'genuine' Birth s.p.a parts are significantly cheaper than the OE parts. My question is are these good quality parts and have I missed anything? Maybe the anti roll bar bushes?

Birth are generally considered to be good quality so I would go for them! Its usually Birth or TRW that are recommended

I've used birth parts before and found them to be good items and would recommend them if you can't afford to use trw. Yeah ARB bushes are worth doing but you'll need to drop the subframe to get them off...

Is it common for the track rods/inner rack ends to go and if so what's the worst than can happen? I know the track rod end bushes perish but according to the EB spares site the track rods themselves are a common failure.
What are the symptoms of bad track rods versus track rod ends?

Don't bother with anything cheaper.

Used Birth for over 30k. No issues with lowers and only the offside upper started to wear for the last MOT on the 147. So they last long enough if you ask me.

Not as long as TRW but they are about half the price.
