ReMapping 147

I've been reading about remapping and it's best to use a company that is known on this forum. I've found a company Remap Experts | ECU Remapping | Engine Tuning UK | DPF Removal * anyone heard of them?

Which engine do you have?

If its the TS I wouldn't bother. You get very minimal gains with remapping the TS. If its a derv then go for it

Very much depends on what engine you have

You really need to take it somewhere that specializes in the brand rather than just a generic remap place and there is probably other things that need looking at and considering

Also any company that is still advertising DPF delete obviously are are not looking out for their customers and do care about the law, this won't affect you though as no 147/156/GT were fitted with DPF I was just using it as an example

I have a 147 1.9 JTD 16v and I live near Bristol are you (Autolusso) anywhere near? Just looked and you're in Bedfordshire, so my next question does anyone have details of a company near Bristol?

I hear good things about Duncan Slade in Bristol for repair/servicing (never used him myself) - I work just South of Bristol myself...

That being said I live in Devon, and once/twice a year head over to Autolusso in Bournemouth for the jobs I don't fancy DIY'ing. Happy to do oil/filters/brakes myself, but suspension/timing-belts/manifolds/breakdowns etc. go to Loz and Paul

Can't recommend them highly enough, always go the extra mile to help you out!

+1

did my first re-map and a whole host of other stuff..top drawer gents..don't base your decision on something as important as a re-map on who is nearest, it will only end in tears.

the point is whilst many companies have experience of the Bosch ECU and the 1.9 engine Autolusso understand all of the other things to be considered when re-mapping these. Vauxhall's they aint...
