this is why so many of them end up at the scrappies...
if it were me I would evaluating and calculating what the car is going to cost me in the next year..thing is if its due a number of the GT ''regular Items'' such as suspension bushes and oil cooler ,turbo hoses, EGR clean and or delete, clutch, flywheel,brake cables, any number of service items It may be time to move on.
what state are the tyres in, how long on the MOT, given the state of the sills I would be having a careful look at the underside condition as it's looks as though it's never seen a can of underseal in its life.
what I am saying is take it all into account and consider whether replacing with a newer GT with all of this done might be a less costly and all together better long term solution before putting in more money, which may well oblige you to do the next thing, and then the next thing, and so on...
