Problem Starting - Urgently need advice
I have had a 147 2.0 for about 3 years now and on Friday, I stopped at a service station and the car wouldn't start when I got back in. Eventually it started again after 30 mins with the message "Motor Control System Failure", which went away and has been fine ever since until today when the same thing has happened when I came out of the supermarket.
Not sure if this is the same problem as Ian's post because the first sign of something wrong was failing to start. Do I take it to the garage and get them to diagnose it or do I just get a new battery fitted? Potentially saving lots of money? I really need to get my car sorted ASAP!
Thanks for your help,
PS: I'm not sure about this, does any garage have the required diagnostics for my car or only certain ones? There are no Alfa specialists in my area.
