Frozen fuel flap...

I had a bit of an annoyance this morning... I pulled into the fuel station to get tanked up, and I could't get my fuel flap open as it was frozen solid.

I make sure I leave the handbrake off, put WD-40 on the door handle buttons, but I never saw this one coming..

Luckily I had enough fuel to get to work and it has now released, but has anyone else had this?

Re: Frozen fuel flap...

I havent. I have an ocassional problem with the fuel flap retaining pin sticking.

Thats just as annoying. Soemtimes it takes the best part of 5mins to finally pop out so the flap will lock. Not good when youve just filled up with petrol!

Speaking of which, do you find your filler cap fits abit weird? Mine doesnt seem to quite screw on, more thread round once and then stop turning.

I swear it doesnt seal correctly. lol
