Temperamental reverse gear - Selespeed
Caught up with a mate on the weekend, he has a nice black 147 Sele. Anyway the car has been having trouble selecting reverse gear. It's an intermittent thing, only happens very occassionally apparently. I experienced it when I was with him: when you select reverse there is a delay of about 5sec, then it clunks heavily into gear. It only did it once when I was there, 99% of the time it works perfectly. All the other (forward) gears are fine.
Any ideas of what this might be? Electrical? Mechanical? Hydraulic?
Could it be something serious (like actuators) or is it something silly like the battery?
